The Hartington tournament was a success by all standards. The rain held off, the competition was every thing you could ask for, and the Steak dinner was awesome. Every flight had scorecard playoffs, and 2 of the flights the winners were determined by playoff. It is really great that the competition is always wide open. Anyone can win in any flight on any given day. I have updated the NENSGA Cup points as of today. Once again, the competitive nature of this program is shining through. We already have over 50 members scoring points for the Season Ending Cup Champion, and a nice payday!
We sold out the Hartington event, and had to turn away at least 4 teams. Please,Please sign up early and get your entries sent in for Humphrey. We do not want to turn away anyone that wishes to play, but the courses can only accomodate so many. Humphrey is always a very popular event with good pay-outs and a Great meal. Janet will accept 66 players, and maybe even a few more, but I cannot guarantee that to be the case. Do not be dis-appointed !!! Remember June 3rd will be here before you know it. Act NOW. See you in Humphrey, Drive safe.
Please note, Hartington is officially full and will not accept any more entries. You may call and leave your names with Deb in case of a cancellation. We will then call in order we receive them for any openings. Thank You for the great response!
Ponca turned out to be a very nice day. The weather cooperated, especially in the afternoon. As usual, it was a very tough track, but a really beautiful Course. We ended up with a few under Par, and a tightly contested scoring event. The meal was as good as always, and Adam and his crew treated us as they always do, with great respect and a sincere effort to please us.
Next up is Hartington on May 20. I really do expect this tournament to fill before game day. They have capped this event at 60 players and this is FIRM! Get your entries in right away to be guarenteed a spot. First come, first served, any over the 60 limit will be notified and put on a waiting list for any cancellations. If there are none, your check will be returned by the Club.
Please note that I have updated the Senior Cup Points on the Website. Remember when looking at this, there is a up/down arrow on the upper right hand corner that you can click to organize the names in acsending or desending order. Chech it out, and get your Entries in for the rest of the tournaments you want to attend. You will probably need to play in most of these events to be in the running come September.
