Nensga Is Coming Out Of Hibernation

Most of you have probably received your renewal membership information in the mail by now. Those were mailed out the first week in February. If you do not have yours, please contact any of the Directors or Secretary Terry Beck at your earliest convenience and he will get the information re-sent right away.

The 2013 Season is officially ready to go. The schedule is now posted on the Website, so check it out and plan your Tournaments early. A couple of items concerning this years Tournaments, first and foremost, we anticipate several tournaments will fill this year. Most of the 9 hole courses are going to be limited to 66 players because of time restraints as well as the cart situation. We will leave this up to the Courses, but most I have spoken to will reserve spots for those members that have their PAID entries already in. After that, they will start a standby sheet for any cancellations, First come First serve. The second reason to get your entries in early is to smooth out the check in process. It is taking a lot of time to get money collected, carts assigned, etc. This leave virtually no time in most instances for the Members helping this process along to get warmed up or in some instances, to their tee in a timely manner. Bottom line, PLEASE try to send your entries in ahead of time. Thank You!

Secondly, notice that on Saturday April 27 we will be having an Early Bird Invitational at FairPlay in Norfolk. This will be the same as any other NENSGA sanctioned Tournament with a couple of exertions, No NENSGA Cup points will be issued, and you do not have to be a Member to play. Guys, This Our Chance to invite your friends who have not played  a NENSGA event but are curious and would like to try one. Remember, the key to larger pay-outs and more tournament flights as well as more Tournaments, is MORE MEMBERS! We will have flyers out in every course advertising this event. We need to make this a HUGE success,so please plan on attending and please invite your friends.

I have rambled way long, I will post another up-date in a week or so and discuss any changes Your Board made in the Fall and early Spring meetings. Thank You, and hope to see all my NENSGA friends on the Links very soon.
