Club 91 at Leigh was played on a very warm but enjoyable Day. As has become the case, it was a strong field with several sub par rounds. We must congratulate the Superintendents for all they have to deal with during this Very hot and drought season. The Course played well, with the tee boxes, fairways and greens all in great shape.
We now move on to Randolph on Monday 7-30-12. I stopped by today and toured the Course with our own Russ Jensen, and it is in remarkable shape given the weather. It will play really well!! The Staff is ready for NENSGA let’s show them what NENSGA can do and turn out for this New Event. We have only 4 events left, and the NENSGA SENIOR CUP is turning into a dog fight. I have up dated the standings, look for yourself. Anyone in the hunt cannot afford to miss from here on. See you in Randolph!!!!
What a great tournament we had at Laurel. A big thanks to the entire crew, the course superintendent had the Course in truly great shape. The food crew put out an outstanding Prime Rib dinner, and Brad really had the tournament organized to the max.A very tough Course and yet we had 7 scores under par, really amazing. We now have almost 90 players scoring points for the NENSGA SENIOR CUP competition, it shows the depth of talent we have in our Organization. I have updated the current standings to reflect the standing to date.
I visited with MariBeth at Club 91 on Wednesday and she is anxiously awaiting our Tournament.I have posted the entries received to date, and we actually have 13 instead of 12, if ayone needs a partner, call MariBeth and ask to be paired with Max Koch. Requires some thought and imagination but you can Score!!! MariBeth promises a delicious Pork Windsor loin dinner, including desert!! I will update the entries every couple of days. Again, this is capped at 66 players, do not miss out by being tardy with your entry.
